ACUPUNCTURE has dramatically improved the lives of multiple sclerosis (MS) patients at a treatment centre in Nailsea.
The practice is just one of a number of therapies which are used by trained staff at the MS Therapy Centre in Southfield Road to help ease the symptoms of sufferers.
Edie Houghton, aged 57, from Backwell could not walk due to stiffness in her knees, she has been fitted with a catheter due to urinary problems, she suffers from constant pain in her head, legs, back and feet, poor eyesight, fatigue and numbness, but acupuncture has helped to ease a lot of her symptoms.

Dr. Duong Hoang has been successfully treating MS patients for over 25 years. He developed the protocol and wrote an article – Acupuncture Therapy for Paralysis Due to Stroke and Multiple Sclerosis

Interesting to find acupuncture helping multiple sclerosis patients. I visit a local acupuncturist for aches and pains on a normal bases, and its help a lot over the years.
i am always astonished how Acupunture helps in dealing with my migraine. it works wonders on other diseases like anxiety and allergy.
Acupuncture helped me a lot in relaxation. It takes away some of my muscle cramps due to physical stress.
