Remember it took Congress 100 years to decide that women do have the intelectual capacity to make informed intelligent decisions politically or otherwise, therefore deserving the right to vote? 100YEARS!!! With 12 States Legalizing the medical use of a very safe and soft theraputically active substance called Cannabis/Marijuana/Marihuana it is only a matter of time, unfortunately a lifetime for some, until Cannabis is legal and research proves (actually the medical efficacy has already been proven) the theraputic non addictive powers of marijuana. So we have been brainwashed by the gov't ever since Harry Anslinger decided that the only way to fight a weed was through propaganda, not education but putting the fear of Addiction/Satan in people. Make them believe that marijuana is physically addictive like Heroin that will stop them from smoking it and force them to use alcohol and prescription drugs that are addictive then fatal. It is time to let the scientific and medical community determine the safety and treatment ofmedical marijuana. Plus it is time to legalize marijuana for personal use rather than forcing its citizens to use Alcohol, a hard, addictive and fatal drug, while prohibiting the use of marijuana a very soft non-addictive drug. Don't believe me? Take an opiate medication for 1 month then stop abruptly, then smoke marijuana for 1 month then stop abruptly. Now you will know the fiercely addictive characteristics of opiates, the drug politicians say is more effective and safer than marijuana, and decide for yourself then vote accordingly.
